#How to do split screen on s7 windows#
Is it possible to not use picture windows (including those in or must i manually change all picture changing scripts? What is the procedure to get the same startup picture on both screens (1680x1050)? What is the difference? Why would anyone use the rather complicated (to me at least) OS Project Editor in favor of using a double sized picture with picturewindows? The way i see it, this method is more or less the same as the onei tried before, since is a picture that holds picturewindows. I tried editing This works, but im left with the same problem: almost all picture changing scripts stop working. The only thing left to do is to change the default picture to my old startup picture. Where does this come from?) on both screens. What exactly happens here?Īnyhow, i noticed the startup picture is then changed to I did a bit of tweaking to SIMATIC_1680x1050.cfg (see link above) and managed to get it to show one picture (some default picture with a Siemens WinCC logo. When i then use this layout and click 'OK', it seems my project is somehow converted (progress bars start running). First i created a layout 1680x1050 (as explained here: /tf/WW/en/Posts/10352) (im not too happy with this because i have to edit files outside of the project! Do i have any alternatives?). I then experimented with the OS Project Editor, and found it a bit confusing.

I would like the pictures to stay as they are, just on one screen extra. However, i do not want to go over all pictures and adjust these scripts for a lot of buttons. I can see why and am confident i will be able to change the script so it works again. This stops working with the new dual screen setup. IHMIRuntime.Screens("CurrPic").ScreenItems("PictureWindowA").PictureName = "NewPic"

However the current pictures use a lot of scripting like My first approach was to create a double size picture (3360x1050) and use two picturewindows on it to accomplish a dual screen setup (as suggested here: /tf/WW/en/Posts/4351) This works well. It is currently running on one screen 1680x1050. I have a project that i need to convert to dual screen.
